Egress Free Plan

Good evening!
I recently exceeded the egress limit for the free plan (5.30 GB of 5.00 GB), and since my next billing cycle is October 8th, I plan to increase this amount. Will I be subject to additional charges? (From what I understand at https://supabase.com/docs/guides/platform/manage-your-usage/egress, there shouldn't be any additional charges.)

If you go over after a warning or for multiple "billing" cycles your account will be cut off.
You need to stay under the egress amount and not count on a forgiveness if you got one for 5.3.

There are two egress numbers though to pay attention to. The cached and uncached. They are separate limits.

From what I've seen, it's not the cache. I just want to know if I'll pay something extra ONLY for this billing period or if nothing will happen because I think everything will go back to normal next month.

You said you were planning to increase it....

There are no charges for Free. You have not provided a credit card. You need to stay under next month or you likely will be cutoff.

Your question is hard to understand as you keep saying "pay" something which you don't do with Free.

I didn't explain: I meant that the overage will increase over the course of the billing cycle because I'll continue to use the database, and therefore the limit will be exceeded further. However, if you tell me that I didn't provide a credit card and therefore won't pay anything this month (assuming I don't exceed this limit again next month), I'm fine and thank you.

My observation is as long as you don't exceed the next billing period you are OK. I am not Supabase staff and they do not make it absolutely clear when they will eventually cut off. It also may be impacted by how much over.
But I am not guaranteeing you won't get cutoff. You are in violation of the plan and if this is a critical project may not want to gamble and go to Pro for now.
