We're rolling out management of Vector Buckets where you can store, index, and query your vector embeddings at scale! 📈

Vector Buckets is currently in Public Alpha, hence expect rapid changes and possible breaking updates as we expand access to make this increasingly available to everyone. 🙂🙏

There seems to be a bug when using filters in vector queries.

I'm following this code snippet in the docs, but it only works without the filter. Adding the filter throws an error.

I'm running into the same problem. When trying to filter my searches return a 500 error. Removing the filter and the search works.

I figured out why it wasn’t working in my case. I was using Supabase UI to create the vector table and added a metadata key in the “Metadata keys” section. When I create the table without a metadata key, everything works as expected. Not sure if this is the same issue you’re running into, but it might be worth checking.

You were able to filter when you didn't set up the metadata key in the Supabase UI?
So you just sent it as metadata with your embedding and it just worked?

I'm doing the same thing (setting it up in the UI) so I'll have to try not setting it up but sending the metadata anyway. Thanks!

I tried using the dashboard feature of creating a schema to be able to view and query my vector bucket to help with debugging. I can see the schema was made, but the UI shows that no tables exist in that schema.

I've tried with a couple different vector buckets and neither of them worked. I'm basically just trying to make sure that my vectors are getting into the buckets and are getting indexed. Maybe there's an easier way to tell this?

When will the Vector search be available in APAC India region? At the least can I move my DB to Sydney to avail Vector?
