surrealdb start file:/db doesn't start on windows on version 1.5.3 and newer. No problem on version 1.4.0

On Windows 10, I try to start the surrealdb server with the command surrealdb start file://db and after a while the program terminates. The problem is seen in version 1.5.3 and 2.0.0.alpha. With version 1.40 running the exact same command, the server starts normally. Has anyone noticed the same problem on windows?

Same problem on windows 11 surrealdb 1.5.3 and 2.0.0.alpha
it doesn't start on file:... just in memory

I have checked up to 1.5.2. But all versions from 1.5.3 onwards are having this issue.

Any news on this? I'm trying to install SurrealDB on a client's machine, and the latest version that runs on their system (Windows 10) is v1.5.2

Does SurrealDB have any hardware requirements that are I'm unaware of ? Either way, the lack of information is really frustrating.
