k8s HA cluster storage options

Hi!
I’m evaluating SurrealDB for a highly available Kubernetes deployment.
From the documentation, TiKV appears to be the only officially supported storage backend for distributed / HA mode.

Could you confirm whether:

• TiKV is currently the only supported distributed storage engine for HA clustering on Kubernetes?
• Are there plans to support additional backends in the future — for example FoundationDB or the upcoming SurrealKV?
• If so, is there any roadmap or timeline available?

Hello egtwp,

TiKV is the sole supported engine for distributed setups in a self-hosted deployment. At the moment, we do not have plans to extend the available options. FoundationDB was supported in previous versions, but it has been deprecated with the release of v3.0.0.
