I've been working on v2 of Tuner - there will be lots of changes, updates, fixes and new features.
v2 also has a lot of breaking changes, and settings will not follow from v1.5.* to v2, including your Starred Stations.
To get your Starred Stations into v2, this release, v1.5.6, introduces a single new feature - from the Preferences menu there is now the option to export Starred Stations to an M3U playlist file. This M3U file is playable, and v2 will be able to import it and repopulate your Starred Stations.
