form-control select doesn't display chevron/select icon (light mode)

ah, it displays in dark mode, not in light mode.

I think it's because I'm on the light theme in Bootstrap but my browser has prefers-color-scheme: dark... so it's using this rule (which has a white icon):

@media (prefers-color-scheme: dark) {
    select.form-control, .form-control-caret {
        background-image: var(--bs-control-select-bg-dark);
    }
}

Update: I confirmed, that's the issue... if you set browser as prefers-color-scheme: light then the icon shows.
