I second this request... in a big way. I call the new interface "idiot mode". I can't stand it. So much that I reverted back to v2.11.5. I'd rather use the old version with the useful interface and miss out on all of the new features than use that horrid new interface. At the very least there should be an option for the user to select "expert mode" or "idiot mode"... |

First of all, thank you for creating such an amazing tool! I've been using it since the start of this year and it's made a huge difference in the quality of my design work and has really sped up the process of enhancing images!
I started using a second computer recently and had to install Upscayl there too, but I noticed the interface has been changed, especially the Select Model menu. Now instead of opening as a list on the left side, it pops out in the middle of the screen, with thumbnails for each model.
I often have to change which model I use, depending on the image, so this new interface for selecting models is not any nearly as fast and convenient as the old simple one. Could it be possible to add an option to use the standard drop down list without any thumbnails, like in the older version?
I couldn't find anyone else asking about this, so I decided to do it myself.
