Highlights

• Initial testing release of the EDP Aggregator. See EDP Aggregator V0: Items required for Halo QA/Origin Test envs #2692
• Follow the draft deployment guide
• Container images are now signed using cosign. See Support for signed builds to support secure compute attestation. #2211
• All image versions are signed with the test key and release versions are additionally signed with the release key. Public keys are attached to this release.

Issues Addressed

• ListEventGroups by MC requires full table scan of EventGroups

Potentially Requiring Action

• This update includes a data migration of the EventGroups table. The update must be applied while there is no traffic to that table. It is highly recommended to back up the Kingdom database before applying this update. See perf: Un-interleave EventGroups table #2537
• There are now two EDP Simulator images: simulator/legacy-metadata-edp and simulator/edp. The former sets legacy EventGroup metadata while the latter sets plaintext EventGroup metadata. Note that the former is not covered by Halo K8s tests. See feat!: Set plaintext metadata and data availability on EventGroups created by EDP Simulators #2564
• Operators may want to update their OpenTelemetry Operator to at least v0.129.1 with CertManager v1.18.2 and Auto Instrumentation Java v2.18.1. See EDP Simulators not auto-instrumented on GKE #2701
