Does Symmetric Key Authentication Work with OrientDB PLOCAL Databases?

I’m working with OrientDB 3.2.21 and trying to understand whether symmetric key authentication is supported when opening a database using the plocal: protocol.
From the documentation, symmetric key authentication appears to be an Enterprise Edition feature . However, I cannot find any explicit statement that says whether it is supported or direct plocal database .

Questions:

1. Is symmetric key authentication supported when accessing a database directly via plocal:?
2. If not, is username/password authentication the only supported authentication mechanism for plocal databases?
3. If yes, please provide steps on how to configure symmetric key authenticatino for plocal database.
4. Is there any official documentation or source code reference that explicitly confirms the supported authentication methods for plocal storage?
5. Are the symmetric key classes (OSymmetricKey, related security classes, etc.) intended only for Enterprise server-based authentication and not for direct plocal access?
