[feature-request] support environment level roles

Hey folks, I'm not sure wether you are open to feature requests or not, but, no loss in asking right? 😊

I was looking for a infrastructure-as-code solution for WorkOS and stumbled upon your Terraform provider. I noticed however, that it does not appear to support "Environment" roles, only "Organization roles" (which I don't personally use). Would you be willing to add that in the near future?

ps: I only started working with OpenTofu/Terraform 2 months ago, so I won't try to contribute! 😆

Question: How does this provider fare, with existing resources in a given environment? We already have a few permissions, roles and organizations created. Does it support automatic or manual reconciliation via tofu import?

@francisco-barros-codes thanks again for raising this. We have PR #26 open for environment-level role support. Once it is merged and the next provider version is published to the Terraform Registry, could you please try it against your existing WorkOS environment and confirm it covers your use case?

The provider will support importing existing resources, including environment roles by slug, so you should be able to adopt existing roles/permissions into Terraform or OpenTofu state rather than recreating them.

@francisco-barros-codes v2.4.0 is now published on the Terraform Registry with environment-level role support.

Could you please test the new version when you get a chance and confirm it covers your WorkOS environment role use case? The release includes the workos_environment_role resource/data source, and existing environment roles can be imported by slug.
