Charging through the XG Mobile Lite Variant.

Sorry in advance for the ignorance. This is just to clarify, I have a ROG Flow x13. I don't need to use the usb C port for anything besides peripherals right? the laptop and GPU should run/charge directly on the external ATX standard power supply?

ATX24 isn't connected to USB-C. USB-C is passthrough only. You need to either charge your laptop through another USB-C port or through the USB-C on the dock.

so if I only have the power supply connected to the xgmobile lite then connected to the laptop, the laptop will be slowly losing power/discharging? In other words, I would have to have both plugged in at the same time?

You need USB-C to charge your laptop. You need ATX24 to power the GPU. You can get a USB-C dock with power passthrough if you need to use the USB port as well.
