Android SQLite Tutorial

This tutorial is designed to help provide you with a basic understanding of how to interact with the SQLite Database on the Android platform.

Requirements

Android Project

• Internet connection to pull down XML files and images
• Alternative Picasa RSS Feed (in case default feed ever goes down)
• An Android Device or Android Simulator running 2.1 or higher

Presentation

The presentation was written to be used with Showoff. If you wish to view the slides in a presentation you will need to install a copy of showoff onto your machine. The requirements are as follows:

• Ruby
• Most recent version Ruby Gems

To install showoff simply type (most likely as root):

gem install showoff
