you may not be able to reproduce it because this bug is weird, but this is what's causing it on my machine

What is the expected behavior?

it works with pnpm

I can repeat this

1.2.9 (but also 1.2.2)

Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS (WSL 2) (also Windows 11 home - build 26100)

What steps can reproduce the bug?
bun create qwik@latest - but do not install the bun dependencies, then when cded into the folder
bun install

Trying this again with the latest canary build 1.2.11-canary.19+78fd584c0

Still has the same problem

This now seems to be fixed with the latest canary build v1.2.11-canary.73 (1ee7bab0) - I'll continue using it to see if anything else pops up - but so far, so good
