What steps can reproduce the bug?

running bun install in a gitlab environment returns this error:

By "gitlab environment," do you mean their CI runner or something else?

Either way, could you tell us more about the environment Bun is running in? Is it in a container? Which distro (if container, both host and guest)? Is it running on an instance hosted for you by GitLab, or on your own server/VPS?

If it's CI, this will be easier to debug if we can find a way for you to type bun install manually and get this same issue, as opposed to having it run for you by a script.
