User story
As a customer I want to provision an intensive Block Storage tier with up to 50,000 IOPS so that I can run demanding database, analytics, and tier-0 workloads without hitting the performance limits of existing volume classes
Acceptance criterias
- I can select a new intensive Block Storage tier when creating a volume from the OVHcloud Control Panel or the API
- I can provision volumes that deliver up to 50,000 IOPS depending on the selected capacity and configuration
- I can view the expected IOPS and throughput for my intensive volume before confirming creation
- I can attach intensive Block Storage volumes to my Public Cloud instances like any other Block Storage volume
- I can use intensive volumes for production workloads that require very high and predictable I/O performance, such as transactional databases and data-intensive applications
- I can resize my intensive Block Storage volume as my capacity needs grow, within the supported limits of the tier
