skip health check requests in logs

the health checks make up a significant portion of our log lines, we would like to omit them.

Hello, Thanks for your message ! I'm happy that this is helping people.
I'm not in favor of this since this can be helpful for debug and also for security since those can be considered as access logs by internal applications.
In which situation this is problematic for you ?

We are trying to figure out who is using our deployment and for that we would like to keep access logs for any requests not made by the kubernetes control plane. Even behind an explicit configuration option? We have it now setup with an otelcol sidecar that filters those logs, that also works.
