How to identify device support before purchase?

Hi, I like the documentation which devices are supported https://github.com/oyvindwe/connectlife-ha/blob/main/DEVICES.md

But how can we find out which devices are safe to buy? Is it easy to add unknown devices, or how high is the risk of getting a device where reverse engineering isn't feasible?

For example, if would like to get this one: https://www.kaut-hisense.de/qh35xv4ag/1260103321/
I can't find a device code or reference of this model anywhere.
