unabel to reach connectlife.bapi.ovh

Hi,

sorry I'm kind of a noob.
I am unable to integrate my AC in Homeassistant.
I downloaded connectlife-ha and installed it on Homeassistant but now I get this error message(the beginning is in german):
Einrichtungsfehler, wird erneut versucht: Cannot connect to host connectlife.bapi.ovh:443 ssl:True [SSLCertVerificationError: (1, '[SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed: unable to get local issuer certificate (_ssl.c:1028)')]

I tried reaching https://connectlife.bapi.ovh but there it says im blocked.

I tried:

• different networks (WiFi, mobile hotspot)
• turning off VPN
• rebooting HA
  No success.

My country is Germany.
Do you know if the API blocks my region or is there anything I can do?

Can someone help me to fix this?

Hi,

I am not able to repro, neither on my HA instance (running 2025.7.0 in a Docker container) or in my development environment (with the latest dev branch of HA on Python 3.13.2).

You cannot access that URL without a valid access token. If this is still a problem, you can try debugging by tweaking the dump program in the connectlife library:

pip install connectlife
python -m connectlife.dump --username <username> --password <password>
