First page notification shown repeatedly

Whenever I visit a page where PageAccel applies, I get the "viewing your first page" notification as if I had just installed the app.

• What version of Chrome you are using (Chrome Menu -> About Chrome); it should look something like: Version 0.67.125 Chrome: 76.0.3809.100 (Official Build) (64-bit)
• What operating system you are using? (Mac version xyz, Windows version xyz, Ubuntu version xyz, etc)
