it seems my soundcard is having issues. i tried normal driver. it stays the same. but weirdly it's not on every single thing. only on some games. not on all games.
cos i recently bought tavern master. and the issue remains. and that game is not a heavy game.

before edited :
when running the game. the audio and mic will suddenly disappear from the sound panel.
and it's hard to even turn back on the speaker. and the mic is even worse.

at that main menu it's still not that bad. but it got worse after in game.
i tried reinstalling the UAD driver. also tried installing official driver. but the issue remains.

no idea how to fix this.

if you can't fix this. can you try to tell the game developer to fix it.
months ago the issue did not exist. about a month or two after RE4 remake got launched.

no idea if its the game. or is it the OS. i'm on win 11 right now.

i tried to search for this issue. but nothing came up. it's hard to look for it. because the issue is very generic.
