specs/measurements does not return units #69

Measurement units are not reported with the download nor are they listed in the documentation. At the very least the units should be stated in the documentation response table for average, min, and max. Ideally, the units should also come along with the download. Adding them to the datainfo output would probably be easiest.
Relatedly, how are the units being handled and stored during data entry? The Classic measurement form specifies that all measurements should be in millimeters. However, the "new" specimen entry app has a text field for measurement units. M. Clapham has done the overwhelming majority of the recent measurement entry and he only uses the Classic entry form--so all of his measurement are in mm. But what happens to the units field when someone uses the new app? Does the specimen entry API convert units to mm before inserting them into the table or is there a new column for units? I guess, I just want to be sure there are not unlabeled mixed units in the database.
