Root Cause
The error message

“Approve transaction filled, but Approval still not enough to fill current trade. Please try again.”

indicates that PancakeSwap's frontend is treating any successful approve() transaction as sufficient, without verifying if the on-chain allowance actually covers the whole swap value (inclusive of slippage). In practice this happens when:

• A user only approves a portion of a token quantity rather than the entire input.

• Market price or slippage updates introduce the necessary input following approval.

• The UI does not re-query token.allowance() before actually performing the swap.

As a result, the approval step “succeeds” but the router contract subsequently rejects the swap due to insufficient allowance, producing a confusing error.

Proposed Fixes

1. Validate Allowance Before Swap

• Before enabling or submitting the swap transaction, call:

• Compare allowance to the required input amount plus any slippage buffer.

• If allowance is too low, disable the “Swap” button and display a prompt to re‑approve.

2. Improve Error Messaging

• Replace the generic error with explicit details:

Your token approval (X tokens) is below the amount required for this trade (Y tokens). Please approve again for at least Y tokens or select unlimited approval.

3.Add Flexible Approval Options

• Let users choose:

  • Exact amount approval

  • Custom amount approval

  • Unlimited approval (MAX_UINT256)

• Clearly display which amount will be approved before sending the transaction.

4. Recommend a Safe Approval Buffer

• If the existing allowance is insufficient, suggest approving requiredAmount × 1.1 or the maximum to cover slippage and avoid repeat transactions.

Implementing these changes will ensure the frontend accurately reflects on‑chain state, prevent swap failures due to allowance issues, and provide clearer guidance to users.
