Hi all,

Trying to use the docker option for installing the pandas-dev environment. Docker build and interactively entering the container with the binded volume that maps the source code of the local repository inside the container works fine. However, when trying to build pandas with meson inside the container I get the following error (see details below).

Does python3 work for opening your version of Python, or do you have to do python?

If so, I think I know what PR caused this.

note: This is an issue with the package mentioned above, not pip.

You need to upgrade your meson version to 1.2.1.
That is a different error.

indeed, 'python3' doesn't work, I have to do 'python'.
