Re: User Roles

Priority: medium

Issue Description:

It’s not clear that edit access in Google Docs enables a user to publish changes to existing pages, without requiring that user to have collection access or even a content publisher account.

Authorized user role grants the permission to connect new documents to a given collection. It does not impact publishing permissions.

Suggested Resolution

Update User Roles doc so the above is clear, and consider adding a section to the Best Practices doc to discuss this in context of common usage scenario(s)/workflow recommendation(s)

also consider:

for connecting document, users don't need to have per-say a "content publisher account (which is the user account providing access to the back-end: content.pantheon.io dashboard and APIs", they can just stick with the add-on. However they need to be declared in the Authorized user list of the collection.
