This sounds like a bug actually. PaperWM is supposed to handle switching monitor configurations on the fly as GNOME does. |

After plugging in a new monitor with a USB-C->HDMI adapter, I noticed PaperWM could not move any windows to it, either using "monitor left" or "workspace right" commands, or by dragging. Logging out and back in fixed that, mostly. (Only the workspace-based commands; monitor switching in the window menu still fails. But this is minor.)
Is this normal or can I expect to be able to add and remove monitors in the future without having to log out?
