Whether this means selling AMIs on the AWS Marketplace (like we do with CMS Airship), or partnering with another provider (Digital Ocean, perhaps?).

If we don't go the AMI route, this issue is up for grabs.

Could we not provide other means to deploy to other cloud vendors?

I don't know enough about how other cloud vendors operate to get the ball rolling on that. I imagine this is more of a business/legal discussion than a technical one?

This is going to have to wait until after version 1.0.0 is done, but it's still on my radar. In the time being, if anyone has any connections to major cloud providers outside AWS (we already have an account there that I can use to publish AMIs), please let me know.
