Angular Best Practice and Tech Stack Actuality

I hope you're doing well. My name is Alexei, and I'm currently diving into Angular development. I stumbled upon this project, and thank you for making it public.
I'm considering using the backend server as well as the frontend part as a guide. I have a few questions, and your insights would be extremely valuable for me and maybe for someone else also.
If you can help me with a couple of questions about your project, I will be very grateful.

1. Is this project suitable for me as a beginner to use the frontend as a reference?
2. Are there many mistakes in this project that you see, and if so, could you give some hints?
3. Should I use a custom backend, or maybe should I opt for a fake one, such as fakestoreapi.com?
4. Is the folder structure good enough, or perhaps you currently have a better one?
5. Is the technology stack used in this app up to date, or should I consider another one?
6. Is NgRx necessary here, or does it add more complexity? Would the project be simpler without it?

If you can respond to at least a couple of these questions, I will be very grateful.
