Some countries missing trailing "(the)" in short name lower case

Some countries have a trailing "(the)" in the ISO short name - for example, the USA: https://www.iso.org/obp/ui/#iso:code:3166:US

When gountries is missing this, it causes validations to fail.
Could these please be added, potentially behind a feature toggle?
