Scuf Valor Pro Not Supported

lsusb lists it as Bus 001 Device 002: ID 1b1c:3a03 Corsair SCUF Valor Pro wired XBOX Controller

I also had one listed as 1b1c:3a0b but I no longer have that device on hand to see the full lsusb listing.

echo '0x1b1c 0x3a03' | sudo tee /sys/bus/usb/drivers/xpad/new_id gets it mostly working (until next boot where I have to do it again).
The lights seem to be the only things that don't work.

Although I don't think this would fix the controller lights, just the issue of not detecting the controller
