Just a quick message to thank you for your work.

HomeAssistant decides to force the user to upgrade to Python3.12 but Python is not yet a package on the classic RasPi repository.... I like up to date technology, but seriously, compiling its own package ?

So thank you again.
From anyone who has problems compiling or is lazy enough to try it.

Their main focus is on the Home Assistant container, Supervisor and OS where this isn't a problem.

I am personally always more a fan of tried and trusted software rather than the bleeding edge. The one exception is Home Assistant, where development is happening so quickly and you almost have to keep up if you want your new stuff to work. And to be honest, the software can still use a lot of improvements. So I guess this where bleading edge (Home Assistant) and tried trusted (Debian) clash.

I would love for some soft of LTS version of Home Assistant to arise but it would be a pain to maintain.

I understand that they support only their installation, but it also has problems, I am here because their container version doesn't support mdns queries because they are alpine based
