"Add database" dialog box knows no keyboard shortcuts

In the database pane on the left, one can open the "Add database" dialog with Ctrl-O which is very handy.
Whenever I create a database group, there is usually a need to add multiples databases to this group.
Unfortunately, the "Add database" dialogue box does not offer any keyboard shortcuts inside to speed up the repeated use.

The relevant file is "./blob/master/SQLiteStudio3/guiSQLiteStudio/dialogs/dbdialog.ui".
I would like to attach a Ctrl-O shortcut next to the "Open folder" icon in line 77 but I don't know how.

Could someone please explain me where to add keyboard shortcuts to the user interface?
I would probably suggest some more throughout the whole application?
Making it faster to use for keyboard-oriented people.

Would it help the cause to learn QtDesigner?
Can I update dialogues and add keyboard shortcuts that way?

I'm not sure if you could do it with QtDesigner. Maybe. Maybe not. I won't know until I get my hands on it.

Excuse me: How are you writing the ui-files?
Different tool or all manually?

QtDesigner, but it's built into the QtCreator these days.
