It is recommended to add a grouping function for tables and views within the database file. This function is of great importance to me as I need to store a large number of tables and views in one database file.

I concur. Because of no way of grouping tables and views, and because of the problematic linking between databases (ie. foreign keys do not work across databases, otherwise one could group stuff in separate databases), the only way to really "group" entities with similiar functions is to use long and repetitive identifiers, eg. Sales_DepartamentA_Yearly_2023, Sales_DepartamentB_Yearly_2023, Sales_DepartamentC_Yearly_2023.

It would be swell if SQLiteStudio allowed grouping of any table and any view into separate branches of the tree.

If this ever gets considered perhaps adding separate "Groups" branch in the database tree, and placing any groupings there in the form of a reference (shortcut) to an actual entity. However, I can't tell if this is viable at this point, given so many of other things need attention.
