Need advice: disableBulkEdit - error

Hello,

I've installed the stoxk version of Payloadcms and it works great. However, I found out that when I select an item and click "edit" I get this error.

Editing a single user works fine, however the bulkEdit keeps spitting errors.

I tried almost everything, but nothing helped.

Any idea what could be causing this?

Hey @w3jerry,

I think this is a known issue and there's an open PR (actually more than one) that should take care of this issue. For now, I think you should be able to define either an empty admin object on your users collection, or admin: { disableBulkEdit: false } should do the trick.

The issue happens because, currently, the bulk edit flow tries to access a property of an object that might not have been defined - in this case disableBulkEdit property of the admin object defined in your collection config.

Hey, not yet actually. I haven't had the time to look into this. I lowkey hope, that the PR will get approved. I do not need bulk edit at this point, but this crashing the app bothers me enough not to ship it to production. If you @neslob figure out a solution, let me know. I was thinking about temporarily disabling the bulk edit button on frontend, so I can quickly enable it once this is fixed.

having same issue, the fix for this should be prioritized, in my case disableBulkEdit: false still throws the error
