`payu sweep` doesn't tidy postscript.sh.*

The access-om3 configs run postscript.sh but payu sweep doesn't tidy up its PBS log files postscript.sh.*.

Should the access-om3 driver be updated to do this?

The same issue exists in esm1.5/1.6 with the UM_conversion_job.sh

I agree it would be nice to tidy this up with payu sweep !

This is a known issue. It isn't clear to me how payu can know how to clean up arbitrary postscript jobs.

Does the name of the log files always follow the name of the postscript file ?

e.g.

postscript: -v PAYU_CURRENT_OUTPUT_DIR,PROJECT -lstorage=${PBS_NCI_STORAGE} ./scripts/NetCDF-conversion/UM_conversion_job.sh

in config.yaml makes log files of the form UM_conversion_job.sh.e* and UM_conversion_job.sh.o*

I think a better suggestion would be that payu injects the name itself using the -N flag

e.g. -N is set in payu to be <<jobname>> + _pscript

And then payu will know what to clean up !

No. You can set the name inside the PBS script.

Good idea! Can you check to see if the command line option takes precedence over the same option specified in the script file?
