Fullscreen Control bar

The playback control bar (bottom bar) does not hide automatically when entering fullscreen mode. Even after several seconds of inactivity, the UI elements remain visible on top of the video/content.

This has been bugging me to no end. I tried the hyde extension for chrome and brave and it didn't work at all. So this is how I landed upon Pear, but it seems that it's also an issue here. I hope that they fix this/implement a plugin for this soon.
