"gbitmap_create_as_submitmap" is missing from Bitmap implementation

Is there any other way to create a sub-bitmap as from already loaded bitmap? If not, please add gbitmap_create_as_submitmap() implementation.

Right now pure practical reason - converting this watchface to Rocky. For weather instead of gazillion individual icons it uses a single bitmap, from which it cuts icon relevant to current weather. Much easier to manage.
But I anticipate future scenarios as well, both similar to this one and other (like animation sprites) etc.

I sounds like you are basically looking for a convenient solution to manage sprite sheets. Could that also happen at build time or do you necessarily need the property of today's C implementation where sub-bitmaps share the identical memory region?

Memory allocation doesn't really matter (at least in current browser implementation). As long I can access individual sprite in some kind of indexed fashion even something basic as array - that would be great. Thanks!

I went ahead with individual images meanwhile, it turned out not such huge pain as I thought it would be, and it seems to be working. If you'd like to close the issue, go ahead, but if some kind of implementation is planned - I wouldn't mind at all and definitely will use it.
