VIAF Authority selection not working

New issue 9/23: search works, but selecting an item from the list does not populate the input with the record's name correctly. However, it is still possible to set the record identifier, it's just a UI issue.

When you add VIAF as an authority, then try to search it for a term, the spinner appears briefly, but nothing appears in the menu.

If no results are returning, we should indicate that, rather than giving the user no feedback. But I presume this is actually a UI bug, not a zero-result condition.

Pan African Data is experiencing this on people records.
