Is it possible to run perspective on a SharedWorker?

There's a perspective.shared_worker but that seems to use a dedicated web worker that's shared but it's limited to the current script.

With a SharedWorker we'll be able able share table across browser windows/tab/contexts. Are there any limitations with SharedWorkers?

SharedWorker isn't as widely supported as WebWorker so maybe we it can be an option users can enable?
