Hi Peter,

Wasn't sure how else to contact you regarding this module. I was wondering if you know if anyone is working on this module? I'm working on a tool to auto-generate a bunch of programming files from my schematic and this module while a good start leaves a lot to be desired. Would love to improve it but don't want to step on anyone elses feet.

Hi! I would love it if you made improvements. I simply pulled this code from the Kicad souce, I assume it was written by Jean-Pierre. You definitely would not be stepping on my feet, I cannot speak for him. I just turned his code into a little python package to make it easier for me to install. I use it as a dependency for BOM generating python code. I have not updated this module since I created it, perhaps someone has already made improvements. If you make improvements you might want to contribute them to the kicad source files. Then I will update this module so that it always matches the source.
