I'm running the Steam Link app on a Raspberry Pi per the steam instructions and everything works except for the up/down axis on each controller.
When I open the Steam Link app I can go into the controller settings and check the "Test Controller" interface, it shows all of the expected button presses except for up and down on either stick.
I haven't tried the up/down axes in any other application. Is there a recommended way to test the controller inputs?
Hardware configuration:
- X-Arcade Tankstick With Trackball (older model without tri-mode PCB)
- Raspberry Pi 3B+ v1.3 (1GB RAM)
Software configuration:
- Raspbian 10 (buster)
- Steam Link app from apt
I've already built a workaround where I map the joysticks to the DPAD.
I then went ahead and tried to also map L2 and R2 buttons, but so far it seems like I'm having the same problem with R2 (BTN_TR2).
Is there any debugging info I can get out of the service to help determine what's going on?
