Project status: Contributors needed!

Yeah, as I've mentioned on the post on HN, I am very short of time these days. But I'm willing to allow someone else to co-maintain the repo if they wish to.

Hey @pferreir, that's great! I think a good first idea would be: 1) Create a Github organisation 2) transfer this repository there 3) give me the commit bit on the repository and add me to the organisation. That way, you can arrange to have "superuser" permissions and then I can also easily go about adding other collaborators and such. If you could drop me your email (in case to arrange something further with permissions), that'd be great as well ... mine is lukewm [at] riseup [dot] net.

Not sure if the trouble of creating a new org is really worth it. What would you call it? I'm OK with giving you superuser, but maybe an org would be worth it once a few more people join in?

Hey @tangingw, that's really cool that you're interested! I have been busy working on datpy instead but still intend to get back to pyssb (hopefully next year!). I am not sure how to get this moving again right now but I assume it involves something like 1) get your head around the protocol 2) grok what code has been written here in this repository 3) try to grok what else needs to be done. If you make a start, let me know!

Thanks for welcoming me. I had started reading the code and followed videos from the website, together with 35C3 on Scuttlebutt. Hopefully I can get something out before Christmas.
