can not click database option in the plugin in qgis

Problem
Hi! when trying to use the plugin in qgis, nothing happens when i click the database option. I expect a dropdown menu, but nothing happens. multiple people in my course have the same problem. We have a connection with PostgreSQL which works. is this a known issue?
