Request for features

I did mention it on the other topic but it is closed, so before you perhaps overlook it. Here are some feature requests from my side :-) Let me know if you need some testing from my side once you've found some time.

• ‘Start at login’ option
• Remove a downloaded background from your local disk (so the wallpapers don’t clutter space)
• Auto update option when there is a new version on Github
• The option to remove the app-icon from the MacOS Dock, but a active icon (as is also now) in the upper Icons bar
• A ‘Pauze/Play’ button to stop the Wallpaper from moving (e.g. when you want to reduce energy)
• Play the dynamic wallpaper continuously, basically a loop (it just stops now after the ‘video’ is done while the (my) intention is that it plays continuously)
• Perhaps a timer on how long to play the video for customization purposes
• Play video’s continuously, with a Shuffle feature.

Lovely, thank you. They do sound interesting and as soon as I have the time, I will certainly look into them! They all sound interesting, but there are some things to consider:

• "Start at login" would require the app to identify all available virtual "spaces". Apple (to my knowledge) currently does not offer a public API to work with them. There are some private APIs, which I have to take a look at first. I can't say for sure if they provide the necessary functions to implement such a feature. I would love to see it work though!
• Videos can already be removed (Option-Click on one of the "video cards", which prompts you to confirm the deletion). However, for the future I would like a more "obvious" way.

I'm using another app which also has the option to launch at start-up (I've beta-tested it a lot on my Hackintosh). I think you can check the code on the Github-page, so perhaps you can watch how it's implemented over there. The developer is very friendly, I'm sure he/she/they can advise if you need any help.

I will get back from my new years vacation today. I will look into them again from now on :). Software Engineering is not my field of studies though, so I can't predict a fixed schedule at this point 😅.
I'll look for a solution on how I can keep you (and potential others) updated :).
