Browse not to the supernote but to a local folder (I have everything syncing onto the laptop already) --this is presumably faster retrieval.
Import the markdown directly into a note (rather than attaching everything then deciding what to do with it.)

How are you doing the handwriting recognition?

I don't understand this feature request. Can you try and explain your workflow step by step with the interaction between your device and obsidian?

Handwriting recognition is using the on-device recognition.
