Error when Skipping this Version

Sync Direction: N/A

Bug Description
Error after clicking the "Skip This Version" button.

Steps to Reproduce the Issue

1. Have a new version available (here, I received a notification of 2.11.6 alpha being available)
2. Skip this Version button
3. OGCS Update Available - "Unhandled exception has occurred"
4. This has also prevented my choice from saving - hence this is repeatable & I am prompted again to upgrade when I re-run.
