How to use the docker installation correctly?

Hi,

I'm trying to use the docker installation, but I think I'm missing a few steps. I got in a situazione where I was able to install the docker image, but I'm not entirely sure I'm using it correctly because:

• to run opensplat from the docker I use a kind of verbose docker command I cobbled together with chatgpt
• opensplat defaults to use CPU instead of GPU (I had to pass --gpus all to docker run)

My setup:

• win11 24H2, AMD Ryzen 9 7950X, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060
• wsl2 (ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS), cuda 12.1.1

My installation steps:

1. open terminal in wsl2
2. git clone https://github.com/pierotofy/OpenSplat OpenSplat
3. cd OpenSplat
4. docker build -t opensplat .

the images get created successfully, but now I'm unable to follow the run section instruction

Wading trough chatgpt I was able to successfully run opensplat command by using a command like this

docker run -v /mnt/d/train:/data/train -it opensplat /code/build/opensplat /data/train -n 2000 -o /data/train/output_splat.ply

But opensplat will declare using the CPU (because I didn't pass --gpu all)

I feel I'm missing something.

NOTE: I feel the gpu acceleration should work, because I'm using nodeodm:gpu (yep I checked that one and remembered I needed to pass --gpu all
