Not sure of the exact reason (something to do with DPS), but rebuilding the module from scratch and uploading the .tgz package fixed it. Therefore, I assume the issue is related to old dependencies.

I'd recommend a new version of this package is created with updated dependencies. It was also reported by NPM:

16 vulnerabilities (7 moderate, 8 high, 1 critical)

So, an update is worth it alone for that.
