Amazfit GTR 3, connection issues

Hi,

For some time I have Amazfit GTR 3 Watch. Tried few times to use it with my Xperia 10III, but results are not so good so far.
Some configuraton details:
Phone Xperia 10III, SFOS 5.0.0.73, Amazfish 2.9.0 (previously 2.8.0).

I have kind of similar problems like in #549, but I decided to create separate issue, as there are also differences (eg. crashes)

First pairing works, I was impressed how many more data is acquired from watch in new release!

And then things started to go wrong. Watch has disconnected, and I am not able to reconnect without unpairing and pairing again.
Connection with phone is unstable. Log of harbour-amazfitd service constantly shows connection/disconnection sequences. After few startFetchData() requests, service crashes. Those crashes didn't appear with 2.8.0. Started now with version 2.9.0 of Amazfish (but I've encountered them also when used self-compiled version from top of repo cloned 21st January).

Once I pair with watch again (unpair, then providing token), communication works again until BT disconnects for any reason.

It would be great if you can provide back trace.

I can see sudden disconnect in log. Can be issue caused by this https://amazfish.github.io/Appearance ?

This disconnect was intentional to simulate any kind of BT disconnect event (like leaving phone somewhere etc.). Appearance is 0x00c0. I tried to change it but after it, I have to reconnect (pair again) what reverts to 0x00c0.
In general if paired, connection is quite stable. But one BT connection is lost, I need to start pairing over.

Update:
Not sure what is a source, but tried Apearance change again, and the result is:

Another finding, removing BT device and pairing woth phone, restores connection without re-pairing in Amazfit UI.

Second thing, I have core dump with backttace, but binary is without symbols so trace does not tell me anything. As it is official rpm I suppose such backtrace shoild ne enough for you. Am I right?

Try to install debug info package devel-su pkcon install harbour-amazfish-debuginfo even without symbols can be back trace useful we we have exact information about version (I expect, that you have released 2.9.0). The addr2line tool can transform address in memory to line of code.

I think I have found possible cause of segfault. Please find fix in pull request. Unfortunately, it probably doesn't solve problem with connection issues you described.

Any clues regarding disconnectiion problem and re-connection after BT repairing?
