Abstract

Devices in 'Send Tab to Device' list is not updating

Steps to reproduce

1. Start Firefox with clean profile (on Windows).
2. Install TST.
3. Log in to FF account
4. Sync Windows FF
5. Sync Android FF
6. Open a page
7. Right click on tab in the TST tree browser > select 'Send Tab to Device'
8. List is not showing an Android FF device## Expected result

Expected result

In the top tab bar the 'Send Tab to Device' list shows the correct list active devices, which should match the 'Send Tab to Device' list of the selected tab in the TST vertical tab list

Actual result

The 'Send Tab to Device' list of the selected tab in the TST vertical tab list only shows a single Windows FF machine

Environment

• Platform (OS): Windows 11
• Version of Firefox: 135.0.1 (64-bit)
• Version (or revision) of Tree Style Tab: 4.1.3

TST's "Sync" feature does not support Android. Here is a FAQ topic about that:

And more, I tried to implement a small addon to sync custom data across desktop environments and Android, but sadly I couldn't do that because storage.sync is not available on Firefox for Android for now.
