Disable/Enable Auto brightness via MQTT command

When there is an important event, I need to increase the brightness of the display. But this cannot be used together with automatic brightness control. Thank you.

You know that you can send brightness as with a screen? it shows that screen with this brightness

I use automatic brightness control which I turned on in the PIXELIT web interface. It works well. But if I want to change the brightness manually - via Node-RED, this change lasts a maximum of 3 seconds before the automatic control corrects it. I tried automatic brightness control using Node-RED commands but I could not find the correct mathematical function that would convert the measured luminosity to the display brightness. This function is in the picture in the build-in PIXELIT Node-RED documentation but is missing in the code below the picture. Thank you for your interest.

Login to GitHub and download this file. There you find a fresh build for all platforms. send autobrightness via API to temporary change the behavior of the automatic brightness control feature. Please give me feedback if it works :)
